Daughter of Darkness

Mirissa laid on his chest for a minute before giving him a kiss her legs still around him. "We should go find food." She murmured against his lips.

Jack frowned and kissed her back. "But that requires clothes." He murmered, his fingers tracing her body.

Gabrielle's stomach snarled hungrily and she blushed "I ah... kinda already ate all your raspberries... sorry"

Kale chuckled and shook his head. "Don't worry about it, I have more than a dozen bushes around here. Come have something to eat. I'm Kale, and this is Artemis." His arm was wrapped gently around Artemis.

Peter stayed quiet.

Mirissa shivered, her stomach giving a soft growl. "Then maybe we'll stay here."

Jack gave a small smile as he rolled back over her, kissing her neck. "maybe," he repeated.

The two girls eyed each other curiously and artemis relaxed a little, tilting her and giving a tentative smile.
Gabrielle dropped her gaze, her own smile not reaching her empty eyes "Thank you" she murmured, staring at the food like it was the sun itself

Kale smiled and got her a plate of food and brought it to the table for Gabrielle. "Come on, come eat."

Peter stood in the corner watching. "I'm not hungry." He murmered.

Gabrielle looked to the plate then to peter, deciding not to take it if he wouldn't "lier"
"eat.. please"

Artemis tilted her head the other way, feeling the mental conversation between them take place, but not interferring

"I'm seriously not hungry." Peter said. "No, but thank you. My stomach is upset."

Kale watched them curiously and shrugged. "Want some tea Artemis?"

"Peach?" Artemis asked, perking up.

Gabrielle frowned placing down the plate "me too"

Peter stared at her. She wasn't eating. He sighed and sat down beside her. "Perhaps a small something." He muttered.

Kale smiled and nodded. "Peach." He said as he set the kettle on the stove and dished some food for Peter and set it down infront of him.

Gabrielle grinned and dug into her own plate, her taste bud having a party.

Artemis squirmed in her seat, waiting for the tea

Kale finished Artemis's tea and sat it down infront of her, sitting beside her with his arm draped casually over the back of her chair. He wasn't sure what to talk about. He didn't want to upset the strangers in any way, they were both doing better than when they had first arrived. At least the girl was. "What's your names again?"

"Peter." Peter murmered. He pushed his food around, making it look like he was eating, knowing Gabrielle wouldn't notice since she was so involved in her food.

"Gabrielle" she whispered, too enthralled by food to be weary of the strangers like she would usually be. She spared a hand and pushed peters plate closer to him, making it clear he wasn't off the hook

Artemis stared at the tea, utterly captivated by it as she waited for it to cool. She squirmed again, getting impatient. She gave up and gulped it "ah!" she clutched her tongue

Peter growled and finally shoved a bite into his mouth, the food tasted amazing, but he couldn't really bring himself to enjoy it.

Kale raised a brow and tried not to laugh at the two. "Well, it's good to meet you." He glanced at Artemis and chuckled and shook his head. "that's why you wait for it to cool down."

( *tackles* so you passed the class?)

Artemis grumbled at stared at the tea grumpily

gabrielle nodded, falling silent and eyeing the two wearily. she didn't speak, what was there to say?

Yup ^.^ 2 finals down, 3 more to go!

Peter set his fork down, swallowing the one bite he did take, his plate looking as though he had ate quiet a bit.

Kale chuckled and wrapped his arm around Artemis and kissed her head gently. "You're silly." He murmered, his heart giving an aching throb. He looked at Gabrielle and Peter. "If there is anything either of you need, please don't hesitate to ask. We have fresh clothes, food, water, books. Whatever you need, we'll get it for you."

"thank you" Gabrielle mumbled, pushing away her meal "where are we?"

Peter looked at her pretty well clean plate and thought that she had eaten well enough, staying quiet.

"In the outside territories, outside the jurisdiction(sp?) of the king and queen. We are, by law, untouchable out here." Kale said as he watched them.

"By law" gabrielle repeated. "since when was the prision run according to law?"

Kale sighed and leaned forward, bringing his arm from around Artemis and leaning on his knees. "We are the farthest base from the prison and still have yet to be found. The place is sheilded by a cloaking device, and Jack will be working on putting up a barrier so that no one can get through."

Peter set a picture of Jack and Mirissa in Gabrielle's mind so she knew what the guy, Kale or whoever he was, was talking about.

Gabrielle sighed, "still.. I must go." she was a danger to them all, and she knew it. they couldn't be in her presence, she was dammed.

Artemis stared at Kale, "are they going to find us?" she started shaking a little
