Can't fight this anymore....

"I found the knife," Blake said coldly, taking his hand back. "Why won't you just humor me and quit hurting yourself?"

Alice didn't say anything. Of course he didn't understand. He would never understand. She felt tears come to her eyes and she blinked them back as best she could, one sliding down her cheek. "why do you care so much?" she finally asked after a moment, her voice not accusing, only curious.

(what day of the week is it? In-chat I mean)

"I don't know," Blake muttered, but it was a lie. Gillian had committed suicide by slitting her wrists last winter. He couldn't watch another person bite the dust that way, have another person to haunt him and make him feel like he should have done something for them.

( et's say wednesday)

Alice didn't say anything, just staying quiet for a moment. She took a deep breath and looked at him. "Thank you for letting me stay the night."

"No problem...you can stay as many nights as you need to," Blake said carefully before turning around to go back to the kitchen. "Are you hungry yet?"

"No." Alice said, her stomach snarling as soon as she said it. She frowned slightly and looked down at her stomach as if to silence it. "I'm fine."

"Your stomach says otherwise," Blake mumbled. "You didn't eat last night either...please tell me you don't have an eating disorder."

Alice scoffed. "I don't have an eating disorder." she grumbled, though she was going on her fifth day without food. "I'm just don't want to eat."

"When was the last time you ate?" Blake asked curiously. "And why don't you want to?"

Alice didn't look at him. "Four days ago." She muttered, not answering his last question.

Blake gave her a strange look. "How...you know what, never mind. I give up." He sighed.

Alice glanced up at him. What was he giving up on? Did he have a project or something he had been working on that she made him ruin? "I'm sorry."

"I just give up on trying to get you to eat, I mean," Blake muttered.

Alice thought for a moment as she stared at the floor. If it would make him happy...she could always get rid of it later..."I'll eat." She murmered after a moment. "If I can take a shower afterwards."

"You can take a shower as long as I have all your razors," Blake said -- he'd cleaned the shower of any earlier, so there wasn't anything sharp or pointy for her to use now.

"You have them." Alice looked at him. "I gave them to you last night."

"I was just checking," Blake said. "What do you want to eat?"

Alice shrugged, not really wanting to eat. She was just eating to make him happy. "whatever you're making." She said, a small smile pulling at her lips. She noticed how quiet the house was and wondered if it was like this all the time.

"I usually just eat cereal...you know, the stuff that you don't make, that just comes out of the box?" Blake raised an eyebrow and held up the box.

"Ok," Alice said as she sat down at the table, staring at the box. "I'll have some of that."

Blake gave her an odd look, then poured her a bowl and set it in front of her.

Alice gave him a bit of a smile and a small thanks before she took a bite, forcing herself to swallow it. She looked around the kitchen, forcing herself to eat the whole bowl, just to make him happy. When she was done, she pushed the bowl away and looked at him. "Can i have a shower now?"

Blake nodded. "You know where the bathroom is." He grabbed her bowl and washed it out along with his.

Alice nodded and went back to the bathroom, shutting the door and locking it. She turned on the shower before silently shoving her fingers down her throat, and emptying the meal into the toilet. As soon as she was rid of it she climbed into the shower, welcoming the warm water as it stung her open wounds.
