Lia silently walked down the dark streets, occassionally stopping to see if anyone was following her. Why wouldn't someone follow her? She had been so close to breaking and becoming a new assassin, but her brain told her she had to run away like the others. If she didn't get out of here, they would bring her back and she would probably break.

Ashton walked, occupied with the chains in his hand as he jingled them lightly, each time they sang out bringing back one of his favorite, gut-wrenching screams he had burned into his memory from the past. Some were the voices of his brother's victims, some his own...others just random. "Ashton," his brother called causing him to look up. "You must remember, we are not here to play. We are here to destroy." Destroy. That word had Ashton energized with euphoria like no other, a venomous, twisted smirk crawling to take a hold his features. "Oh, I know. Trust me."

He couldn't wait. It made him so giddy that he contemplated taking out Axis, but quickly tossed the thought aside. If he did that, who would he have to gloat to afterward? So he continued, attention drawn back to the chains for the moment.

There was a very blatant reason the twins were feared like they were. Even by other assassins. Killing and torturing were not a job, a life to them; it was a game. They would take out anyone at any time-even eachother-simply because it was fun to them. They were inhuman. No emotion, no conscience...

The girl they were after, they would kill her. No question. By technecality, the two were responsible for returning her to her cell for further 'conditioniting,' but they would simply CRUSH her...and no one would dare ask questions, correct the monsters - the devils of their own creation...because they were scared.

Jason knelt down and observed the bandage on her leg. The bleeding had stopped, which was good. He may have just tied it too tight. "Let me loosen it for you then," he said, beginning to adjust the bandage.

Marcela looked at Guerro, hating the somewhat awkward silence. "So...you handled yourself pretty well back there. You seemed...distracted earlier."

Lia felt the pain in her stomach. She had to eat something, or she would faint while trying to get out of here. Where could she go? There were probably assassins everywhere.

Fire flinched as he touched her then she felt relief as the bandage loosened. "I still don't...feel it...I don't feel pain or the tightness..."

Guerrero's eyes flashed from green to blue, then back to green in seconds. "Flashbacks do that to me." He looked at her.

Jason frowned slightly. "I'll just keep the bandage loose and if your leg is still numb after a while, let me know."

Marcela was curious. "What kind of flashbacks?" she asked.
