The Royals (based off of my book)

James bit his lower lip. "I can't, that's a bad time for me," he said softly. He rubbed the back of his neck and watched her. He really wanted to meet her again.

Alice thought about it. "I dont know if I will be able to sneak out..." SHe said thinking for good excuses. She wanted to see them both but... she was torn.

James sighed and nodded, feeling his heart drop slightly. A small frown had made it's way to his lips. "I understand. So when will I be able to see you next, then?" His eyes were curious as he watched her.

Alice thought about this. "When are you free?" She asked looking into his sad eyes. She didnt want to hurt him.

James sighed. "The day after tomorrow I'm free starting at six. Meet me here the day after tomorrow at six?" His eyes stayed locked on her and he hoped that she would be able to meet him.

Alice nodded and kissed his cheek. "Good night.... James." SHe said with a smile. She walked to her room and slept. SHe dreamt about... Samuel. But then they changed into dreams about JAmes. She woke up that morning and went out to the stables.

James walked away, walking to the place he would sleeping for the night. He had a smile on his face and his heart was racing. he felt happy, happier than he had ever been in fact.

Samuel yawned as he walked toward the barn again early the next morning. He ran a hand through his hair as he walked, his heads in the clouds. He kept thinking about how he had kissed Alice the night before. A slow grin spread across his lips as he entered the barn and started to work.

Alice got to the barn early that morning. It was drizzling rain and her black hair caught the raindrops. She walked in and hung up her dark cloak and sat on the hay. She pulled out her sketchbook and started to draw a rose.

Samuel worked and stopped when he saw Alice. He smiled widely and moved to sit next to her for a moment. he peeked over at her sketchbook. "Nice drawing, Alice."

Alice turned and gave alittle scream. "You frightened me!" She said closing her sketchbook. "No I am not... but thank you for lieing..."

Samuel blushed slightly. "I'm sorry, Alice. I didn't mean to scare you. And you're drawing is nice." He smiled at her and quickly brushed his lips against her cheek. "Forgive me for scaring you?" He watched her, his eyes sparkling.

Alice nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Always..." She whispered. Thier breth mingled and her heart did a happy dance inside her chest.

Samuel slowly wrapped his arms around her waist, a smile across his lips. He lightly brushed his lips against hers and pulled back to see what her reaction would be.

Alice smiled and her lips found his yet again. Her lips molded themselfs against his and the kiss was everything she wanted. Her heart pounded.

Samuel pulled her closer and deepened the kiss, his heart going crazy in his chest. He was thrilled that she was his... He then thought of the knight an hoped with all his heart that she had ended it...

Alice broke the kiss and smiled at him. "Your everthing to me..." She whispered. Her heart did a beautiful little jump and smiled at him.

Samuel's smile widened into a grin and he stroked her cheek gently. He brushed his lips against her forehead and then rested his forehead against hers. "And you are everything to me, My Dear Alice," he said softly.

Alice leaned into his hand. "I..." She stopped herself from saying the 3 little words. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment.

Samuel's heart pounded like crazy in his chest and he knew exactly what she had almost said. He lowered his lips to hers again, his head spinning. He pulled away from the kiss after a moment and looked into her eyes. "I love you, Alice."

Alice fluttered her eyes. "You... love me?" She whispered her heart bounced around. James came into her mind and she felt alittle sick.

Samuel nodded slowly. "Yes, I love you, Alice. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." He bit his lower lip and took in a breath. "But I understand if you don't love someone like me."

Alice shook her head and crushed her lips to his. All the images of James went away. "I love you..." She said against his soft lips.

Samuel pulled her as close as possible and deepened the kiss. His heart pounded in his ears when he heard those three words slide off her lips. "And I you, obviously," he murmured.
