Love, Lies, and Betrayals

Eric- I couldn't believe it, I actually felt bad for this girl. I ,who had no heart whatsoever. "Is she still running and hiding?"

Ember: I nodded, a tear streaking down my cheek. "Yeah, I still am." I pulled my knees to my chest. That was the only time i ever told anyone, and i still didnt feel anybetter.

Eric- "Are you alone?"

Ember: I nodded, "I have been scence i ran away."

Eric- "I could help you, you know. So you dont get caught, so you're not alone."

Ember: I bit my lower lip. I didnt want to bring him into my hell life unless he really wanted to be a part of it. "If you want to stick around and help, you can."

Eric- "I'd love to help. But first, maybe we should try out that spell. See if it worked." I have tried so many spells and my life and not a single one worked, so I am quite curious

Ember: "Here goes nothing" i muttered, wiping my eyes and getting up from the ground.

Eric- I get up too, ready to help if the spell doesnt work.

Ember: I sighed, and opened the door, walking out of the apartment. I closed the door after Eric, and locked it. I took a breath as i walked outside the building, only to get mobbed again by the press. NO! No no no no! it was suposed to work!

Eric- I dont have time to be dissapointed. These people are like vultures. I call up my favorite element , fire, and put a wall between them and Ember. I made sure she wouldnt get burned, but I couldnt be held responsible for the others. No one ever called me nice, but I always got the job done.

Ember: I took a quick step back and ran back into the building. I ran up to my apartment, and tried to open the door, only to remeber i locked it. I fumbled with the key before giving up and sliding to the ground, tears streaking my face. "Why?" I whispered to myself. Why did all this crap happen to me?

Eric- I let the fire go once she's safe, then I go after her. I kneal down beside her. "It's okay." I say in my most soothing voice.

Ember: "N-no its not. Th-that was my last chance." I sobbed.

Eric- "What do you mean? You can try again."

EMber: "Once those pictures are out, im as good as dead." Why me? What did i do wrong?

Eric- "I wont let him hurt you, I promise."

Ember: "You wont be able to stop him." I started crying again, and curled into a ball against him.

Eric- I hold back a laugh and instead wrap her in a hug. "Who is he, super man or something?"

Ember: "Danny freakin collins. He has the press on his side along with most of the police forse. If he wanted to get to me, you wouldnt be a problem." i muttered into his shoulder.

Eric- "You know, I should be offended by the lack of faith you have in me. Danny freakin Collins is a big bully and nothing more. Does he have the same powers as you?"

Ember: I shook my head, "I got my powers from my moms side of the family."

Eric- "Well then you're stronger than him." I say looking her in the eyes. "You just have to learn that."

Ember: "No im not. I dont have control over my powers. Last time i tried..." I let my voice carry off remebering the day. "Bad crap happened."
