Love, Lies, and Betrayals

Ember: "No it wont. My life is going to hell - if it wasnt already there - and there is nothing i can do about it!" I cant control my powers, i cant fight back. I was useless. I couldnt even get a stupid protection charm to work.

Eric- "Don't you see." I say, kneeling down face to face with her. "Things could've been so much worse. You could be dead right now. But you're not. You saved yourself when I couldn't. You can do so much more than you believe."

Ember: "Only if i have control. You you've seen how much of that i have."

Eric- "Yeah, I noticed. But, I really do think you can get control. We just have to figure out how."

Ember: "Could you teach me?" I asked him.

Eric- I think about that for a minute. "I guess I could try."

Ember: "Thanks!" I smiled at him and got to my feet, holding my hand out to him. "When do you want to start?"

Eric- I take her hand. "Anytime, but first, i'm starving."

Ember: I pulled him to his feet, "Well, we could see what i have in the fridge, or we can go to the cafe down the street." I offered.

Eric- "Either is fine with me." I say, with a smile.

Ember: "Same." I shrugged, "But i would sugest the Cafe. I dont trust the food in my house." I blushed lightly.

Eric- I laugh. "Okay, sounds good to me. I'll just follow you."

Ember: I walked out of the apartment, grabbing my hoodie and pulling the hood up as i left.

Eric- I follow close behind. On the look out for any slimy people who may be watching and waiting.

Ember: We slid through the busy crowds before we finally got to the cafe. "Hey, James. I'll have my regular." I told the cashier. "What do you want?" I asked ERic.

Eric- "Same as you times two." I say, not knowing whats good in this place.

Ember: James nodded and got started on our orders. I walked back to my back booth. Ok, so it wasnt mine, but i was the only one who really sat in it.

Eric- I followed. "You come here often?"

Ember: "Every other day or so." I shrugged, sitting down.

Eric- "What exactly, did I order?"

Ember: I laughed lightly. "Mocha chococlate coffee with a ham sandwhich on the side."

Eric- "I'm a vegetarian." I say flatly.

Ember: "James, change the second to a veggy sandwhich." i called to him, before turning back to eric. "Fixed."

Eric- "Never mind." I call to the waiter. I laugh. "I was joking. Wanted to see what you'd say."

Ember: I punched his shoulder playfully.
