Love, Lies, and Betrayals

Ember: "So do you want to test this out now? or later?" i asked the guy, flipping through the book.

Eric- "Whenever it's convient for you. I'm always ready to do some magic."

Erica: "Kay, we are going to have to go back to my place. Its the only place i feel safe attempting magic." I told him before standing up from the ground and digging money out of my pocket for the book. I may be a thief, but i would never steal a magic book. Karma would come back to get me.

Eric- "I've got it." I say handing her some money. "Sounds good, where do you live?"

Ember: "Thanks." i smiled lightly at him, before take the money from his hand. "Just down the street at the apartments. Im in 313." I told him before walking to the front of the store and paying for the book.

Ember: i paid for the book then walked outside. The second my foot was out the door, paparatzi attacted me.
"Are you Anya Collins?"
"Is it true that you dad is Danny?"
"Why did you go missing?"
quesstions were thrown at me before i could respond to any of them. Pictures were snapped, and videos taken. I was speachless and frozen in fear.

Eric- "What the?" I quickly call water and make it pour. Then I call air, and make wind whip around everyone.

Ember: When the storm hit the reporter, i went running. Some chaced after me, but couldnt keep my pace. HOw did they find me? I made it back to the apartments and scaled the stairs easily, going strait for my room. I ran in and slammed the door behind me, locking it.

Eric- I run after Ember. I wonder what that was all about, nasty, vulture like ,animals. I curse under my breathe as I get to the locked door.

Ember: I tried to calm my breathing as someone knocked on the door. I stood on my toes to look through the peep hole, and let out a calm breath as i saw Eric. I swallowed before opening the door for him. I looked away from him and went to find my spell suplies. There was little light in the room, only the light from the fire place was there. My two strongest elements: shadows and fire. "C'mon in."

Eric- I walk in and shut the door behind me. It's a nice place. "What was that about?"

Ember: "Something from my past that keeps haunting me." I muttered. If it was paranormal, i could handle it. But no, it was human and completely normal. I walked over to the fire and sat cross legged on the ground, the book infront of me.

Eric-I stand in the courner and watch quietly.

Ember: I closed my eyes and murmured the spell undermy breath. It took a lot, and i mean a lot of energy to keep my powers undercontrol. I felt wind whip around me, and felt the heat of the fire flicker. By the end of the spell, the fire was out and i had passed out, hitting the floor with a soft, yet painful, thud.

Eric- I run over. "Are you okay?"

Ember: my breaths where shallow, but existant. i forced my eyes open and waited as they adjusted instantly to the darkness. "Y-yeah fine." i stammered out.

Eric- "What are you trying to do?"

Ember: "P-protection charm." i muttered before sitting up. I concentrated on the fireplace, and a small fire started again, lighting up the room.

Eric- I watch carefully. "How do we know if it worked?"

Ember: "I take a step outside and see if im mobbed my paparazzi again." i shrugged. "But i am in no mood to get mobbed again if it didnt work."

Eric- "Well, what exactly is this spell supposed to protect you from?"

Ember: I didnt look at him, and i refused to answer that question.

Eric- "Okay. So now I guess we just wait?"

Indira: "Yes," I said. I was getting the jacket clean, but the pages has stains. Great. My face flushed, and I felt myself turn invisible. This is going to be a bad day.
