Untouchable MxT

Trenton stirred at her movements, his mind telling his body that something was happening. He forced himself awake, tense and looking to see if there was danger. When he realized there was none he relaxed again and closed his eyes for a moment. His body was exhausted from such little sleep. Sure he had had a few cat naps, but he was use to sleeping for days on end. He opened his eyes and looked down at Mika, a small smile coming to his lips along with a blush.

Mika smiled widely up to him and bit her lip at his blush. "I am forever yours." she told him softly, cuddling closer to him and kissing his cheek. It was an odd sensation, waking up completely soaked. But it was completely worth it.
Herfingers traced down his markings, and she smiled. "We match." he had given her the same markings all those weeks ago.

Trenton smiled as he watched her, his skin seeming to rise to meet her fingers. He kissed her forehead gently, closing his eyes as he did so. "You are Heshik now," he murmured against her skin. He took a deep breath, the events of the night running through his mind again and again. He couldn't believe what had happened, yet here he was, holding her. He was use to waking up soaked, he often fell into the water only to wake up on the shore days later. But he had never woken to someone before...that was a new sensation. One that he really liked.

Mika smiled down to him and kissed his cheek. She cuddled against him. "Alright. I am whatever you want." she told him softly, a soft smile filling her face. She had woken in drews and Bobbys arms before. But this was different. With Bobby it was because he pushed her to far and she would faint. With drew it was because he was overly protective. Not because he wanted to spend the night with her.

Trenton smiled softly, kissing her neck. He didn't want to move from that spot, to ever be anywhere but that moment. The sun had just barely hitting the horizon though, they would have to get moving soon. "I love you," he said softly against her skin. "More than anything in the world."

Mika looked Up at him when he said that. She just smiled and blushed lightly. "I love you so much. More than all of reality." she told him softly. She kissed his lips lightly and then looked at the shore. "We should at least get dressed..."

Trenton sighed, a slight pout coming to his lips. "I suppose," he said begrudgingly before he retrieved their clothes, distributing the various pieces as needed. In the end, only two of the clothing items were Trenton's seeing as how he never wore a shirt. He sat on the shore, his feet still in the water as he waited for Mika to finish dressing, his eyes cast to the water to give her her privacy. It was still a polite thing to do, even if he had seen all of her.

Mika quickly pulled on her clothing, the last item being her long black gloves. Her short hair was brushed through with her fingers and she checked to make sure she was covering as much of her skin, without looking awkward, as possible. Once finished she walked ofer to him and sat next to him. She couldn't get her mind off last night and how perfect it was, after drew left at least. She played with her necklace and smiled down to it.

Trenton looked over at her, smiling as he watched her. "I love you," he said kissing the top of her head. "You look beautiful." He sighed and looked down at the water. "We're going to have to go soon," he murmured quietly. He really didn't want to leave. He liked being here with her to much, but his people needed him.

Mika nodded slowly. "Did you get enough sleep last night?" she asked softly. She was worried about his health and lack of sleep because of her. She bit her lip and looked down. "And I will miss this place too.." she kissed him gently and looked up with her caring eyes.

Trenton wrapped his arms around her, kissing her back. "I'll be fine," he said with a small smile. "I got enough." Of course, her idea of enough and his idea of enough were totally skewed. He had gotten enough to travel for weeks on end, then sleep for five days straight. He thought for a moment, a sly grin coming to his face. "I have an idea." He set her down and went over to his bag, pulling out a bottle. He came back and filled the bottle with the water before putting the top back on. "There."

"What would that do?" Mika asked softly. She looked at the bottle the. Back at him. "that won't work, will it?" she was slightly confused as to what he was doing with a bottle of the lake wwater. Would that let them flub each other? She looked at him, then at the water. Then at her hands.

Trenton gave a small smile as he put the glowing bottle back by their bag. "A little bit of this in any water, will turn it so it's like this lake," he said as he made his way over to her. "Now we can take it with us." He kissed her head, slipping his feet into the water again. "You ready to go?"

Mika nodded ad smil at the water. "are you sure you want to do that though? It could be dangerous to make more than one of these lakes..." but she wanted them to be able to be together. It was only her paranoid side coming out. She took his hand with her small one and stole one last kiss while she still could.

Trenton kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her so as to keep her there. He wasn't done kissing her. He kissed her deeply and lovingly for a long moment before letting her go, his breathing ragged. "We should go," he said after he got his breath back. If he stayed there to much longer, there would be no getting him away.

Mika nodded and stepped out of the water slowly. She took his hand and led him out as well. "Let's go face the bad guy..." she said softly as she took another step away from the shore. They had to go. But she so didnt want to. She wanted to stay with him. Forever. Right here. But to stay here, they had to save the world. "then after we defeat him, let's come back and build a house here. Together. A place were we can stay happily. A place we are both safe."

Trenton gave a small nod and packed up their bag and slipped it on to his back. He then cleared the sight to make it look as though no one had been there. He then began heading through the forest, keeping her close by. His eyes were black as night now, and his body rigid and tense as he watched for the dangers the forest could hold.

Mika walked directly next to Trenton, wanting to be close, and at the same time not wanting to scare him. It was weird, wearing so many layers again. Her body was almost rebelling against it by overheating the poor girl. She rolled down her gloves slightly and prayed to the council that he didn't reach out to touch her.

Trenton could hear everything that lurked in the forest, the animals that ran through the underbrush. But there was one sound that made him freeze, one that caused his heart to stagger for just a moment. In the distance, a nykri could be heard, and only a few minutes later another sounded off even closer than the first. Without thought Trenton reached out and grabbed Mika, throwing her onto his back, not even seeming to register the touch of their skin or the energy that was drained from him. As soon as he had her on his back, he ran.

Mika squeaked as he grabbed her arm. She pulled away as quick as she could and held the small limb. It wasn't that he hurt her. No, he could never do that. But the fact that she drained him again. "Trenton, I would have been fine..." she said lowly as they ran. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she was afraid of how much energy she had taken from him. "Are you alright?"

(haha, I was thinking about bringing in one of those things as well:3 good to know that we are on the same page)

Before he could respond, a nykri burst through the trees behind them. Trenton growled and pushed himself faster. More nykri appeared ahead of them and he slid to a stop, looking for a way out.

Mika slid off his back and looked around at the beasts that circled them. He was frighted and couldnt believe she was about to do what she was. She pulled away from trenton and pulled her long gloves of her arms.

She faced the closest beast and calmed her breathing. It lunged at her and she swung her arms up to stop the blow. A blow that never actually came. She felt a huge energy surge, one similar to what she felt when she accidentally drained from ginger, and the beast dropped dead before her. She blinked back tears and covered her mouth with one hand. Another came at her, and she pointed at it to get it to drain.

Before the second one could get to her, Trenton grabbed her around the waist, once again not even realizing the power that was drained from him. He jumped up, grabbing hold of a branch that had swung down to them. He pulled them up, the nykri jumping up, grabbing him by the leg. He didn't seem to notice though, running as fast as he could along the branches, putting Mika on his back. Blood ran down his leg, black mixed with his fuchsia colored blood.

"Trenton stop!" Mika shouted to him, her body trying to adjust to the energy she had taken. "Just stop for a minute...your bleeding..." she started, then added in her mind 'and I'm about to pass put from energy overload'.

She didnt see anything followingthem, but they could be following from below. But Mika wasn't worried about that. She was worried about her trenton. He had touched her twice, both giving huge surges of energy.

"Are you alright?" she asked him softly.

Trenton didn't answer, to focused on getting her to safety. He continued to run, pushing forward even as night set in. Rain began to fall, or at least what seemed like rain. It was a incandescent blue that seemed to glow as it fell. He continued until the forest seemed to give way, then he jumped to the ground, crumpling from his wound. He gritted his teeth and stood again, catching her before she could fall to the ground. He limped forward to the rocks ahead of them. They weren't mountains, but more like ruins. He stumbled inside one of the large crevices that was hidden and set her down before collapsing.
