Well, I mean, Elliot probably wouldn't just run up in the middle of the reunion, so I don't think Avery will mind...? Just will stop after the reunion.

Kayden's head snapped up, and he blew loose strands of blonde hair out of his warm chocolate eyes.
He jumped to his feet, grinning wide and wrapped his arms around her slender waist, lifting her up to his height into a playful hud. He kissed her nose and set her back down.
"Hey Claire-bear," he smiled, using the ridiculous nickname.
He reached over and ruffled her soft hair, lost for a moment in a sea of blue eyes. . .

Claire: I giggled. "Hey! I finally convinced my parents to let me come, they were a little bit wary, since they knew my /boyfriend/ went here, too." I smiled, taking his hand loosely and swinging it back and forth as we stood.
"But this will be /so/ much fun. A whole week (is that how long they're here?) /away/ from adults! Besides the counselors, I guess."

Kayden took bother her hands and swung them teasingly harder, just like a little kid, grinning to his ears.
"I know. A week of just us."
Thought Kayden knew very well the "just us" part was not happening. Because he was making eye contact with a gorgeous red head girl named Elliot when she looked away, and felt like a whore.
"We can really get to know each other, sweets. This'll be fun."
He pulled her close for a real hug, and then pulled them together beside each other on the bench, hands intertwined.
"What made you come here?" he asked smoothly.

Claire: "I wanted to be alone with /you/...and Daddy wanted me to do more than talk to Stacey on the phone, the whole summer." I rolled my eyes.

Stacey. Ugh. Stacey. Kayden innerly glared. Her annoying, whiney, jealous "best friend".
"Glad you're here, Claire-bear," he smiled, enjoying just the smell of her hair.
Fruity, yet expensive. Ah.
Looking out as all the kids arrived, Kayden fretted over the following days. What might happen. Everything.
He wrapped his arm around her neck and her shoulder, pulling her closer. He wasn't too sweaty, was he?
An uncomfortable bloop hit his stomach. What was going to happen?

Claire: I nuzzled his face a little, a little smile on my face. "Too bad there's no co-ed bunking." I giggled. "So, have any old friends from last year that I should meet?"

He swallowed a huge throat lump.
"No, I mostly met some guy friends. Nothing you'd like."
He laughed lightly.
A bell rang, and it meant it was time to go inside.
"We could skip," he whispered lowly.
But he got up and took her hand.

Elliot: My eyes connected with another pair and I raised my eyebrows in surprise. A small smile curled the edges of my lips up and I came to a realization. I saw Kayden and some other girl, being all lovey and felt my stomach drop a little. I mean, what had I expected? I had moved on, too. I got to my feet and started toward the main building where we would get put into our cabins. I sighed and hoped for the best, hoped that I wouldn't be put with that girl. Instead, I pulled my hair over my shoulder and walked into the room silently.

You can probably finish up the summer for Emerson and your charrie, then skip to the next summer...
