Kale held her as he watched Jamison. After a moment he stood, swaying slight and smiled. "Found it." He said triumphantly. "And these" He said dangling the keys. "I say we let some unhappy people out...what do you think?"
Kale smiled widely. "Oh ya."

Mirissa followed quietly, she'd gotten this far before, I'm mean she used to break out of the normal cells all the time. She wouldn't believe they were free until she was outside.

Artemis finally pulled herself up, fear driving her to move away from the insane strangers. "are you insane? Drake will kill me"

Mirissa glanced at her. "I don't think he can kill you if he isn't awake."

Artemis glanced at his limp form "he'd find a way.." her voice cracked, her courage and and fleeing her

Dani woke up again....she never stayed down for long......

Mirissa glared at the form, walking back to kick it. "I don't think so this time."

Kale stared at her. "Do you trust me?" He asked holding out a hand to her. "I will keep you safe." Jamison had already started stolling down the hall, unlocking all the prisoner doors and letting them out.

Did she trust him? Did she trust a complete stranger? God, she didn't even trust mirissa at first, and she was a blind girl. Still though, Artemis found herself slipping her hand in his, refusing to met his gaze and answer his question, but still- the hand thinG was a big step

Kicking Mason a few times Mirissa turned and went down the hall to see if she could help with letting the prisoners go.

Dani pulled herself to her feet and glared at their backs. Meanies....

Kale smiled at her and pulled her through the door and sending her down the hall after Mirissa and Jamison before turning to face Dani.

Dani smiled, "Hello, I realize I never got your name." Her voice was sickly sweet.

"What would you want it for?" Kale asked as he swiped up Mason's other gun that he hadn't broken, and aimed it at her.

Dani frowned, "I like to know the names of the people I mark as mine." She glanced at the gun, kinda nervous. But she didn't let it show. She had tons of practice hiding her emotions.

Kale watched her for a long moment. "Kale." He said and pulled the trigger.

Dani fell to her knees, the electricity coursing threw her body. She'd felt pain before, her father said before she could learn how to torture she had to feel it herself. So she was able to keep the smile on her face, even though her body was trembling with the pain. "Nice." She managed. "Name."

Kale watched her and dropped the gun, walking away to find the others who were already far down the tunnel.

Dani watched him till he was gone then collapsed. Her father was right. She wasn't good enough for this job. Tears slipped down her cheeks as she though of her punishment for their escape.

Kale caught up with the others, doing his best to ignore the pain that coursed up his legs from his pierced feet.

Artemis stumbled through the halls, somehow getting separated from the others. She found herself at a four way intersection. Four halls. Four paths. She had no clue where to go

Kale came up behind her and took her hand. "Come on, follow me." he said as he pulled Artemis down one of the halls.

Artemis startled, a yelp escaping her as he pulled her along "this is a bad idea" she whimpered
