Darkness Descends

Amelia sighed. "Used to. Then I trusted someone and they freaked out. They told the hunters where to find me." She shrugged. "Should be interesting trying to avoid hunters," she mumbled to herself, eyes glued on the ground.

Oliver sighed and shrugged. "I have a place about 20 miles out, pretty good size home, off the grid," he said. "You could crash there if you want to," he offered.

Amelia blinked and looked at him, her lips parting in surprise. "I- I couldn't possibly do that." She shook her head. "Thank you for the offer, but I couldn't risk getting you in trouble at all. You seem like a decent person."

Oliver laughed in surprise. "You'd rather have Hunters after you? Really, I'm not trying to push this on you, but you seem like a nice girl and Hunters have no reason to suspect me," he said.

Amelia sighed. "No, not really. It's just..." She let out another sigh and looked up at him. She smiled slightly. "Could I really stay there until I find someplace else?"

Oliver chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, of course," he said. "I have the keys back at my place, if you don't mind following. Or, I can meet you somewhere."

Amelia smiled. "Thank you Oliver. It's up to you really whether I follow or meet you someplace."

Oliver threw her a small half smile. "It's up to you, actually... Considering you're the one that's sort of slightly injured."

Amelia smiled and ran her fingers through her hair. "Actually, I'm about ninety five percent healed. So, it's up to you Oliver." She watched him and realized he had a nice smile.

"Okay, follow me, then," Ollie said, nodding up the street, toward his apartment. He lived in a small splace with his mother and sister, worked at an old comic shop, and knew about other species, so this was like a dream for him... Well, Kai was a dream... Until she broke up with him.

Amelia followed him as she was told. "So, there anything I can call you besides Oliver?" she asked as she walked. She glanced at him once and then paid attention to where she was going.

"I go by Ollie, sometimes," he said, smiling back at her.

(Imma bring Kai in to stir things up)

"Ollie." She paused a moment. "I like it. So, if you don't mind my curiosity, what's your story Ollie?" she asked as she moved gracefully in front of him and started walking backwards. She looked at him with a smile and bright eyes.

Bio: TBD-- Ollie's ex.
Image: Long black hair with straight bangs that hang above her dark green eyes. Fairly tanned skin. Medium height and relatively thin, but noticable curves.
Shifted Image: Dark gray wolf with cold green eyes, fairly thin and very quick.

Ollie sighed and smiled. "I grew up in the city, was taught to Read by my mother. My dad's out of the picture, he died when I was younger. I have a younger sister and no one else, really... Oh, and my last girlfriend was a werewolf."

Amelia watched him and nodded. her eyes widened slightly at he last part. "And the council have no clue about you? Hm." She was quiet for a moment. "Now some back story on me, huh?"

"They might know of me, now that you mention it, but I'm just a grain of sand," Ollie smiled. "Yeah, back story would be nice," he shrugged.

"Hm. Well, my parents were both strong werewolves. They died when I was thirteen and I think it had something to do with the council. I was then an orphan and the council tried throwing me in a home. I refused and ran away. I've been on the run ever since." She left out the small detail of why she was still on the run.

Ollie nodded, listening to her. They entered the lobby of the apartment building and saw a familiar face. Kai. Her dark eyes were trained on him and then they flickered to Amelia.

(What if they knew each other or something?)

(I like that idea. XD But good question is how do they know each other?)

Amelia finally turned and looked around. Her eyes landed on Kai and she blinked a few times. She then glanced at Ollie.

(I dunno... They can be either friends or enemies...)

Kai's eyes lit up with recognition as her gaze stayed on Amelia. After a minute, she walked up to Ollie. "Hey," she said softly. "Have you seen my ring? I think I left it back at your place." Her eyes were softer, a bit more innocent.

(Hm... Friends would be interesting if they both like Ollie... but enemies would also be interesting... Uh, you can choose.)
