Cloaked in the Darkness, waiting for your nightmare to become reality

Courtney: "Crap," I mutter, wiping the burns off. "You got some kick, bitch. You know that? But fine. Go. I'll get you later." I glare at her and turn to the other vampire. "Still wanna go or are you done?"

Lesley scrambled up and ran back down to the bridge, her bottle of beer forgotten.

Derek stood there, smirking. His hands were in his pockets as he eyed the girl. "I'm Derek Acton."

Courtney: I stare at him. "Courtney J. Smith. Not sure what the J stands for but I know it's there." I stare at the fire and groan, sitting down. Well f*ck you, Derek. I only had one person this whole week and that doesn't work well for me.

Derek sat down across from her, drapping his arms over his raised knees. "Where you from, Ms. Smith?"

Courtney: "Um. Here. There. Everywhere. Originally from the city but I forgot which one. And you?" What? We were just fighting- probably to the death- and now this... getting to know each other? The world seemed to work in strange ways.

Derek shrugged. "Romania." He stood up again and looked down at the party. "Still hungry," he muttered, starting to walk towards it.

Courtney: I followed him. Not to be with him. To get to the party. I smirk. if he stays out of my way, then maybe I'd detest him less.

Hm...I dunno what do do. We're the only ones on here now o.o

Derek walked down to the party, winking at the girl from before. He watched in satisfaction as she whimpered and turned away. He quickly forgot about Courtney when he zeroed in on a drunken brunette a few feet away. Perfect. He licked his lips and felt his fangs detract.

Dylan: I glare at one guy, licking his lips at a drunk girl. I already had my eyes on her, but I watch him, making sure he won't try anything.

Courtney: I gasp quietly as I see the Darren kid (or, whatever his name was) looking at a brunette, but that didn't bother me as much as seeing DYLAN looking at DARREN looking at the brunette. I didn't mind vampires killing each other over food, but if anything went down here at the party all the food would scatter, and I wasn't having that. So I put my hand on Darren's shoulder and shove him away. "Not smart," I mutter. I preferred saving his life than Dylan's.

Derek rolled his eyes and glarred at Courtney. "Are you really going to do this again?" He opened his arms wide, gesturing to all the kids around them. "Look around you. You can have anyone of them that you want."

Courtney: "Would you shut up for a second?" I ask, frustrated, keeping my eyes on Dylan.

Dylan: The guy is lead away by some blonde chick, so I go after the brunette. Better for his health, really. the blonde girl seemed oddly familiar, but this was a party, so I probably saw her earlier.

Derek followed her gaze and saw a guy with black hair standing not too far away. Another vampire. "Damn it," he muttered, looking back down at Courtney. "Who the hell is that?"

Courtney: "The devil," I say simply. "Or, in other words, my brother." I glare in his direction, not taking my hand off Derek's shoulder in case he decided to go fight Dylan.

Derek raised his eyebrows and looked at Courtney. "Awh, you're saving me from your big brother? How sweet." He shrugged off her hand and walked up to the brunette again. She saw him and smiled, the smell of alcohol meeting his nose when she said hi.

Dylan: I snarled and pushed that guy out of the crowd, taking him off his feet by his throat and slamming him into the side of a building.

Courtney: I shook my head. The idiot...

Derek growled and kicked the vampire in the stomach. His grip loosened enough for him to twist out of his reach.

Dylan: I still didn't let up. I'd take down the whole vampire race if I had to. I was sick of them. I didn't want to be a vampire. it made me lose everything. I run him into the wall again, sending cracks running through it.

Courtney: I tangled my fingers in my hair and flew at Dylan, kicking him to the side. "You effing jack ass!" I shout at Derek. "I told you not to go near this fool!"

Derek blinked through the haze, having it quickly melt away. He smirked and straightened his jacket. "Have I ever done what you've told me to?"
