Melly: "Oh," I said. "That's a poker game, right?"

Jesse: "Exactly." I nodded.

Melly: "Oh. I don't know any poker games."

Jesse: "Not even Blackjack?"

Melly: I shook my head. "No, Dad never let me even learn card games."

Jesse: "Not even bridge or Go Fish?"

Melly: I shook my head.

Jesse: "Strange bird, yo daddy. Bridge is usually a women's game anyway."

Melly: "You could show me how to play one..."

Jesse: "I don't own any cards, and I'm not teaching you with those fellas hanging nearby."

Melly: "Oh," I said. "Maybe later?"

Jesse: "Maybe." I said.

Melly: I grinned. "I'd like that."

Jesse: I downed the rest of my whiskey. "What do you say we go for a ride?" I asked her.

Melly: I nodded. "Sounds like a good idea."

Jesse: I left the bottle on the table, and helped her down from the chair. We then went outside to where the horses were hitched up. I untied Thunder's reins from the post. "Which one is yours?" I asked, jumping up on the saddle.

Melly: I pointed to Waffles. "That one," I said, getting on him.

Jesse: "He's a beauty." I smiled, backing Thunder away from the post and turning him to face the east.

Melly: I grinned. "Thanks. I got him for my birthday last year."

Jesse: "So he was a birthday present? Your father must've been rich." Would've been a good carriage steal if he came out here.

Melly: I nodded. "That's why I left my home."

Jesse: "Understandable. Anyplace in particular you wanna go?" I asked her.

Ivy:
"Damn," I muttered, whistling for Liro. He pawed at the ground anxiously as I swung myself into the saddle, then took off after Thompson. I drew and loaded my revolver, a frown forming from the loss of my whip.

Melly: "No. Just away from here."

Amelia: I dug my heels into Tumbleweed to make him go faster, and turned slightly to fire a few bullets at the new person who was following me.
