"Take a bite of my heart tonight"

Rose: I heard a voice in the trees. I almost forgot about those two. "Why are you guys way the heck over there? Are you scared or something? I don't hurt anybody intentionally, unless they try and hurt me. I don't bite." I said. Then I heard Caleb speaking, introducing Scary Girl as Wolf. I guess that meant that Enekk was a wolf. Intimidating much?

Wolf: "I do, but i won't unless you do first." I couldn't help but smile at my joke. They would get it if they annoyed me too much.
Caleb: I shook my head laughing airily. "Wolf...That was bad...."
Wolf: "Was it? I thought it was funny."

Rose: "Hey, I pretty much made the same joke." I pointed out.

Wolf: I burst out laughing. "Very true!"
Caleb: I laughed a little but just couldn't get the humor in it. It was the difference between the supernatural and me i guess. "Well, i'll go out and start gathering wood if you set up the tent."
Wolf: "Agreed." I dropped my pack onto the floor and dug through it for the nylon tent and rods.

Rose: "Is there anything you want me to do? Need any help?" I asked. I didn't want to look lazy or anything.

Wolf: "Hmm...Want to help with the tent?" I really didn't need it. I had done this a million times before but i knew she didn't want to feel useless. I knew the feeling all too well.

Rose: I nodded and began to assist in pitching the tent. "So, what are you doing in the woods at night?" I asked, trying to make small talk.

Wolf: "We're headed west, trying to find others that have survived the war." I paused. I still felt uncomfortable going. I had no idea how those people would react to a monster like me. All of them have only had negative experiences with things like me. "Attempting to rebuild and all."

Rose: "War? Who were you fighting?" I asked. Wars were being fought around me, and I didn't even know it. I felt left out.

Wolf: I looked at her dumbstruck. "The world, basically. The human population almost zeroed."

Rose: My eyes widened. "Whoa. and when was this?" I asked.

Wolf: "Fourteen years ago. I was six. There was this weapon, country of origin unknown, but it ended up mutating select chains of DNA. I just so happened to be one of the few that had this lucky one in 2.9 billion chance sequence. And now i'm Wolf." If she couldn't take this major hint....

Rose: "So you don't like being what you are?" I guessed.

Wolf: I was silent as we pitched the tent. I didn't...not before. But since Caleb came and accepted me, since i was able to defeat the wolf and become alpha...it seemed more and more like some gift. No, not a gift but...what? A tool? A weapon? I clenched my jaw; I knew the answer. It was a way to get what i truly wanted. "It's been okay."

Rose: "oh." I said.

Caleb: I walked into the circle with an arm full of wood. The tent was set and the girls stood in an awkward stillness. I looked between them, unsure of what had caused this. I moved toward a cleared area of dirt and started setting up the wood. if they wanted to tell me, they would.

Rose: "Hey Caleb" I said pleasantly.

Caleb: "Umm...hi." I looked at Wolf but she wouldn't meet my gaze. She was uncomfortable. I saw her eyes flash quickly. Yellow and then back to black. What the heck went on here?

Rose: "What's up?" I asked.

Caleb: I looked at Rose. "Nothing." I glanced at Wolf again before looking back at her. "How about you?" I heard Wolf growl a bit at me. She turned and walked into the trees. "Where you going?" I called after her.
Wolf: "A walk." he was frustrating me. I clenched my jaw against the rising wolf and shot her down again. You will not rule me again, monster.

Hmm...we've set up camp for the night. I told Rose about how in my world the human pop. is almost at zero because of war. Caleb came back with firewood in the middle of an awkward moment, Wolf got annoyed at him and went for a 'walk'.

Rose: I watched her stalk off. "What did I do?" I asked Caleb.

Caleb: I waited until I thought she was out of ear shot. "It wasn't you, it was..." I really didn't know soo.... "me. It was me. She doesn't like it when i attempt to get in her business."
