Wishing Stars deviation

Lucia blushed and then when she was let down, she crossed her arms in front of her chest, waiting for him. She was trying not to let it show that she was a tiny bit nervous. She had never really liked bikes with motors. She was more of a why fix it if it ain't broken type of girl, though it was a bit ironic with her car. She really didn't care about the junkbox, though.

Ryder brings his motorcycle out and grins at Lucia, tossing her a helmet before getting on and waiting for her. "You comin or what?" He winked teasingly though his eyes held the promise of keeping her safe. "Look. You won't get hurt ok? I'll drive careful. And it's not like we're goin' to far. Just...out of town for a bit." He grinned even wider. He loved the lake, but he had no idea why he was dragging her along. Especially to his private spot by a hidden waterfall.

Lucia looked at the helmet uneasily and then put it on, getting onto the bike and wrapping her arms around Ryder. her stomach was turning in knots as she sat there, but a part of her kinda... maybe... sorta... possible liked it. She wanted to believe him badly, but wasn't really sure since she had never spent any time with him before.

Ryder slammed his foot down on the throtle making the bike roar to life. He kicked up the stand, grinning widely as he made his way into the street and headed towards the outskirts of town. "You ever been this way?" He called over the sounds of traffic that surrounded them just before he took an exit that dumped them out on a dirt road.

"Once or twice," Lucia called back, her grip on him tightening slightly as they sped down the road. It might not have been very fast, but she felt like it was. She wasn't actually sure how fast they were going and by the time they got onto the dirt road, she was relaxing just a bit. She was also trying to figure out where they were.

Ryder smiled and chuckled. He, unlike Lucia, wasn't wearing a helmet and loved the feel of the wind through his hair. They continued down the dirt road for a good six miles before he turned off onto another, not so noticeable road. He followed it till they hit a line of trees and then followed the trees south for another five miles before he finally came to a stop and put his legs out to steady the bike so Lucia could get off. "We're here."

Lucia slid off the bike, pulling off the helmet and sitting it on the back of the bike. She tipped her head over and shook out her hair, then flipping it back with a small smile. She took in the place they had come to and her eyes widened slightly. She ran a hand through her hair and looked up at Ryder. "Nice place you got here," she said softly.

Ryder chuckled as he watched her, slipping off the bike and putting up the stand. "It's a field with a bunch of trees," he noted. He then took her hand and drug her into the trees, making sure to go slow so she wouldn't trip and fall or whatever. Girls were very prone to that he noticed. When they finally broke through the trees he let her hand go and leaned against the biggest tree closest to him and watched as she took in the place infront of them.

Lucia's eyes widened slightly and she chuckled as he let go of her hand. She crossed her legs wear she stood and her smile grew a little bit. "Okay, so this is a nice place," she corrected herself. "I've never seen it before... Did you find it out here?" She asked, looking at him sideways.

Ryder gave a small nod as he watched her with a lopsided grin. "Yes, and I've never shown it to anyone until now." He glanced back at the waterfall that landed in the lake creating a light roar. He grinned at her, his eyes turning mischievious. He rushed her, his hand slipping into her pockets and pulling out her cellphone and everything that seemed important as he lifted her over his shoulder again and rushed towards the water. He had left his things back at home.

Lucia yelped as he lifted her up and rushed toward the water. No! She had to pick the perfect day to wear a white shirt. How would she have been able to expect it, though? As soon as they were in the water, she gasped. It wasn't as frigid as she thought, but it shocked her something feircely. Instantly, she wriggled away from Ryder and turned her back so he couldn't see her sopping shirt.

Ryder didn't really notice her. He was trying to stop spluttering and grinned as he stipped down to his boxers, throwing his clothes to shore. His skin was covered in goosebumps, but he didn't seem to be affected by it at all. He turned and looked at Lucia and all of the sudden his excitement came crashing to the ground. "Hey, you alright?"

He sounded concerned. Lucia turned and waved her hand. Then, she did something that really shocked her. She stripped down to her undergarments and tossed them on sure next to his. "I'm completely fine," she said, the starts of a small smile on her lips.

Ryder grinned as he watched her, forcing his eyes to stay on her face instead of wandering like they so desperately wanted to. He took her hand and led her towards the waterfall. "Come on, I want to show you something." The closer to the waterfall they got, the deeper it seemed to get but Ryder could still touch the bottom easily.

Lucia wasn't as lucky as Ryder in her ability to touch the bottom. She mostly treaded water, letting go of his hand to hold on to his shoulder as he led her along. She wasn't sure where they were going, but she was in awe of the waterfall. It wasn't the biggest she had ever seen, but she didn't realize how close it really was. It made her smile a little.

Ryder's arm snaked around her as they neared the waterfall. "Get ready," he grinned and then plunged into the falls, keeping a tight hold on her as he fought his way to the otherside. He brought her through to the small cave that sat on the other side of the falls, setting her on the rock surface carefully before pulling himself out and wiping the water from his eyes. "how was that?"

Lucia pulled herself out of the water with a small grin and leaned back, supporting herself by sticking her hands behind her. Quickly, she pushed back her hair and glanced over at him, taking him in quietly. "That was pretty cool," she said but her smile grew anyway. It was awesome. She especially didn't expect it when she thought of hanging out with him for the day. It was nice. Q pleasant surprise.

Ryder's smile faded slightly as he stared at the waterfall infront of them, his face turning thoughtful. Why had he done this? He glanced at Lucia, caught slightly off gaurd when he found her looking at him. To his surprise his cheeks started to turn a faint pink and he quickly looked back at the thundering water infront of him. "Not what you expected is it?"

Lucia noticed the slight color change of his cheeks and her smiled widened as she looked back at the water, too. "Not even a little," she admitted sheepishly. She wasn't sure what she had expected this to come to, but she felt like she would have compromised at least one if her morals. She sat up a little bit and then her eyes turned to Ryder, where they watched him appraisingly, also slightly carefully. There was still more of the day to come so she still handy let her guard down.

Ryder gave a slight nod though his eyes didn't leave the water. "Ya, well. You're different." He muttered and took a deep breath, his face turning thoughtful. "What do you want to do the rest of the day? This was my big exciting plan."

Lucia pursed her lips, wondring why she was different. Was that a bad thing? Was it good? She wasn't sure, but somehow she managed to keep a smaller version of a smile on her lips. "I don't really know. I'll go along with whatever you decide," she said, shirting slightly so her leg brushed against his. There was limited space in the cave, but that was only part of the reason that she was sitting close to him.

Ryder noted the movement and his hand went to her knee gently and he looked back at her and smiled. "How about movies and popcorn at my place?" He didn't plan on anything...bad. Like he had said, she was different. She was...better than the other girls. She deserved to be treated better...was this what it was like to have...stirrings for someone?

Lucia stared at his hand on her knee for a second, her cheeks warming very slightly. "Yeah, that sounds good," she said, turning her head to look at him. Oh. She was gonna need new clothes. Meh. She'd figure it out when the time came to think about clothing. Right now, she was just kinda conte t hanging out here with Ryder and not having to worry about being hit on. It seemed like that was out of the picture almost completely.

Ryder smiled back at her, his eyes turning back to the water as he took a deep breath. "So...how you been since...you know...highschool started?" He felt a twinge of guilt as he remembered all the days he use to spend with Lucia before they went to highschool. She had disapeared for a while though and that was when Ryder got into the mess he was in now.

"Busy," Lucia said after a second. She never seemed to have any free time when she wanted it and she was surprised she had this weekend free. Normally, she was doing something around the house or helping people in the neighborhood. She liked to be involved, but it was so... Draining. This felt like something she needed. "But it's been okay. What about you?" She asked earnestly.
