Cursed

Jason looked out the window, judging the time by the position of the sun. "Three days work for you? I've got to get you a passport but I can have that by the time we leave." He noted that the sun was little over half way through the sky. It had to be somewhere around three in the afternoon. Maybe four. It was funny how time could fly by when you had someone you could enjoy it with.

Jean
I nod. "Three days. Alright." I adjust in his arms, looking away with a small blush. "I suppose that involves getting up?" I ask quietly.

Jason watched her for a moment and then smirked and shook his head. "Not if you don't want to." He could just call on his phone, send a picture of her from his phone...it wouldn't be to bad. If she didn't want to move, he could sit there with her. If she wanted.

Jean
I shrug. "Can't just think about myself," i murmur. "Not when you're going to do all of this for me in the first place." Glancing at his hand, following the marks with my eyes before tracing them lightly with a finger. "Did they hurt?"

Jason watched her fingers trace up the scars and markings that marred his skin, almost wanting to shy away from her. His eyes didn't leave her hand as he took a deep breath and gave a small nod. "It was...agonizing...as if someone was digging into my skin with a knife that cut to my soul and then burned the places that were opened..."

Jean
I link my fingers with him. "Wasn't very nice," I mumble. Like a child. "...Burning only hurts in the beginning though..." Wincing again from my fire. "Not safe..."

Jason chuckled slightly, watching her as she linked her fingers with his. It was weird, holding someone's hand again. "Nothing's ever safe when you toy with magic and fire," he murmered softly. He sighed, his eyes falling on her face. As he searched her features, he found himself longing for her to be human. He hadn't known her long, but he was already begining to care for her.

Jean
I shake my head slightly, trying to calm. Contact, talking, jests and jokes...wasn't really working anymore. My eyes flick to the window slightly, my breath catches. "No, I meant it's not...safe... I'm not..." Wizard was always in control. I was never in control.

Jason sighed as he watched her, pulling her closer. He wrapped his arms back around her, rubbing her back gently. "Eh, I've never really been safe, so it's ok. I don't mind. We'll be ok, Jean. We'll figure this out."

Jean
"Jason," I whimper, tears stinging my eyes as I push against his chest. Pain and emotions swirl in my head, suddenly feeling claustrophobic in his arms, in this room. "I'm gonna burn. I'm not hurting you. You're going to be safe from me..."

Jason watched her, his eyes searching her face. "What can I do to help?" he asked, trying to keep the panic from his voice that seemed almost evident in her eyes. "Tell me what to do and I'll do it."

"Be safe," i murmur. "Stay...stay away... I need to... Get out, away...". My eyes still on the window, my face trying to hide my own slight panic, fear, pain...
