Aria had to clamp her lips together to stop a old comment from escaping her lips. She knew making fun of there age wasn't going to get her anywhere. She noticed that Aziel was in a knda gumpy mood. She lean towards Rusty, "What happened to him?"

Adair watched Azriel, curiosity in her eyes. She wanted to know what was bothering him and why he seemed so closed off. It then dawned her that she was just a slave to him and that was it. She pursed her lips, deciding that it would be better to focus on escape plans then on Azriel.

Blaise: I blinked in surprise. He was going to allow me outside?! i allowed myself to flow back to my owl form and flew through the door without question. Did he not realize that once outside, i could simply fly away and never come back? It would be the easiest thing id ever done.

Damon guessed what she was thinking. "Their's wards over the garden. Don't even think about trying to fly off, or you'll be electricuted by them. What? You didn't think we weren't ready for shape-shifters? My dad had plenty of them." His voice went dry at the word slave. "Honestly, me nor my brother don't want slaves. There's more going on here then meets the eye, trust me." His lips twitched at the thought of his, James, Azriel, and Rusty's plans on killing their father. They all really wanted revenge on him for killing their beloved mother. He opend the two large doors to the garden to reveal almost every species and colors of plants and flowers alive. "My mother did this...I hope you enjoy what freedom it gives you. More then that room." He took a right on a trail and headed towards a creek where he sat at its edge and watched the water rush by with an expressionless face.

Rusty frowned and watched as Azriel shut the door behind them. "Most likely thinking of his dad, or brooding about his mother. Who knows with him?" He was curios himself though. "Or wishing for the past. Things were better when we lived in Athens." His lips twitched as he remembered Azriel's smug face as they beat the Spartans in the Olympic games, who at the time had been excellent athletes.

Azriel shut the door behind them and walked on ahead of them, his keen hearing picking up Rusty's words. He lead them to the kitchen and walked in, planning on giving the cooks a break and cooking himself, proably give them a good Italin dinner of fietichini alfreado.

Adair watched as Azriel closed the door and slowly followed him. She was trying to think about escaping and anything else that would remind her that she was nothing but a slave to the vampire and anything that would also take her mind off of him. She was far too attached to him and she knew that wasn't good and that would only end in her death probably.

Azriel started cooking and the wonderful smell of the fetichini wafted in the kitchen. He hummed silently to himself, finally calming down.

Adair stood on the other side of the kitchen, seep in thought. The scents drifting through the air pulled her out of her thoughts though and her eyes locked on Azriel. He seemed to be in a better mood and she needed to figure out if what he thought of her... "You need help with anything?"

"No." He put the sauce and chicken together to allow the sauce to heat with the chicken and he stirred the noodles. "The drinks are in the fridge. Get what you want." His eyes returned to the same coolness he usually wore and he could feel the other slaves and servants around him calm. He use to take his frustration out on them when he was younger and his father had just taken over the human's world. He was sorry for it now and tried to be kind, but they didn't trust him like they use to, well some of them didn't.

Blaise: Crap. Id figured it was too good to be true..... but the air out here was moving and it was much easier to fly. I easily shot up as high as possible with the aforementioned warding and i flew for a bit, examining the gardens below me with the inncredible sharp gaze of my second form. It truly was a beautiful place, although it was a little frustrating to be so close to freedom and unable to leave. Eventually i spiralled easily downwards, pinpointing Damon's location and perhaing in a somewhat high branch of a nearby tree absently.

Damon put a hand in the water and energy washed through him. He closed his eyes, feeling more close to his mother when he was right here. When he'd been a little boy he'd often found her here, staring dreamily into the water, most likely dreaming of the ocean she'd been born in. She'd let him crawl into her lap and he lay his head against her chest and listend to her hum to him a soft lullaby her kind had sang to their young. He withdrew his hand from the water with a sigh and put his hand to the back of his neck, feeling better as he felt the water running down his back.

Blaise: It was funny...... the more i watched him, the more i listened to him, the more.... human he seemed. My mask theory seemed to be somewhat supported so far, unless this was all an elaborate act. Which it could very well be... human-sounding or not, i didnt trust him and wouldnt put it past him to be acting simply to get me to drop my guard or gain my trust or something. I allowed myself to return to human form, the branch taking my weight, and continued to watch him calmly, curious. "This place.... it means a lot to you, doesnt it." i said. It was less a question than a statement, for i was already certain it was true.

Adair stayed where she was, her arms crossed over her chest. She noticed the coolness in his eyes and felt like sighing. She couldn't keep up with the vampire's constant mood changes. "Stupid pmsing vampire," she muttered under her breath. She finally moved toward the fridge, pulling out (insertdrinkhere).

"How could somthing of my mother not mean a lot to me?" His voice was just a murmur and he laid back on the grass, allowing the warmth of the sun to sink into him. Young vampires couldn't stay in the sun long, but when you were as old as he was. His black eyes were the color of the deepest part of the oceans, his pupils unseeable. His hair was raven black, like his mothers. He gave a long sigh and appreciated the feel of the sun. When you almost lose your life so many times in your lifetime, you learn to appreciate little things.

"Heard that." He breathed quitely, but didn't further comment. Finally he finished the dinner and put the mouth watering chicken fitichini on the table. "Eat up." He pulled out some parmasen cheese if anyone wanted to use it and he dissapeared out the door as he grabbed two blood bags. The blood bags weren't enough to satisfiy him, it wasn't like drinking from the source. He'd have to hunt later, or drink from one of his father's slaves. He wasn't willing to drink from Adair, for fear of losing what trust he'd gaind from her.

Blaise: "You were close with her, than. My guess is she's no longer here." i mused. I knew i was likely poking at sore areas, but i was curious. "At least you seem to cherish her memory. That's good. It means she cant fade from this world completely." i said. My memories of my own mother were faint and fuzzy at best. At least he could remember his mother...

Adair glanced at Azriel a slight smirk on her lips, kind of happy that he had heard her comment. She sat down and watched as he left. Once he was out of the room, her gaze shifted toward the food that looked oh so good. She ate and then went to find Azriel.

Damon ignored her and closed his eyes as he listend to the creek. He nor his brother had ever told anyone that thier mother had been a water nymph. Their father had threatend to kill and destroy all that was preses to them if they ever did. He didn't want anyone knowing his sons were halfbloods, half vampire half nymph...but their outstanding beauty said vampire, the seductive side nymph, but that was also another trait of the vampires.

Azriel had finished one bag and was now drinking the third. His hands gripped it tightly, obviously in bliss, but their was also disgust at his actions within his now black eyes. He smelled Adair coming and stiffend, taking the bag away from his mouth long enough to hiss a warning before greedily drinking from it again.

Blaise: Ignored. Great. Well, it wasnt as if i could BLAME him. I mean, i could, but.... there would be no justification. I wouldnt want to talk about my family's own deaths if he'd been the one asking. I sighed and shifted on the branch, dropping so that i was now hanging upside-down by my knees. I had to admit, this was a nice place, and it was good to see the sun again. I hadnt seen the sun in quite a while....

Adair heard the hiss and stopped in her tracks, guessing that she wasn't supposed to find him. "Just to let you know, when you hiss like that you sound like a cat whose tail has been stepped on," she stated, leaning against a close wall.

Azriel's eyes went blood red and he barely stopped himself from pouncing on her. He tore the bag from his mouth and put a hand against the wall to keep his balance. His voice came out strained, turning his back on her. "You should know better then to be near a vampire when they're feeding, Adair. I could've easily twisted your neck and gone for your fresh life-blood instead of these stale blood bags." His voice slowly returned to normal, but his eyes remaind red from hunger.

Damon rolled onto his stomach and rested his head on his arms, looking up at the girl. "When you're ready to go inside just tell me. I think my brother might be making something to eat. He didn't feel calm a while ago in our bond. He cooks when he's agitated. Drove me nuts when we live in Italy." A small smile tugged at his lips.

Blaise: I scrunched up my face at the mention of food. Id never had a lot of appetite and tended to eat very little. "All right." i said, not liking the prospects of going inside or eating very much and choosing to instead change the topic. "You lived in Italy? That's pretty cool. I havent really been many places in my life... i mean, i ran around a lot when i was little, but i havent been outside the country or anything." i said. "What was it like there?"

"Maybe I know, I don't. Does it truly matter? After all, I'm your slave and doesn't that mean you basically feed off of me? If I remember correctly, you did call me bloodbag several times before," Adair said dryly. She knew very well he could turn on her, but why hadn't he yet if she was just some slave? And after all, one of the things slaves were used for was blood. Adair wasn't stupid, she knew quite a few things about vampires, but she was left wondering why for a lot of things.

Azriel gave a dry laugh. "My dad forced me to buy a slave. It wasn't my choice." He was close to telling her that he didn't want to lose what trust she had in him, but kept his mouth shut, not wanting her to know he was attached to her. The scent of her blood filled his nostrils and his throat burned like it was on fire. He was thankful his back was to her, so she couldn't see the emotions on his face.

Damon sighed and sat up staring around him blankly. "It was ok, I gues. Not as magnificent as Babylonia though, with its Hanging Garden." He sighed and shook his head.

"Oh, my mistake. That just means that you listen to everything your daddy tells you then? Ironically enough, for some absurd reason, I don't see you being someone who is completely okay with this slavery shit. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm going crazy, but you seem like some one who would actually care. In my honest opinion, you don't seem like someone who would follow their dad's every order, but obviously I'm wrong," Adair said.

"I want to live. For reasons I'm under oath not to tell you, but I can assure you. My dad won't live for long." His voice slowly turned into a growl. "I'm just keeping myself off of his list so he dosn't keep a close eye on me. Later maybe I can tell you, when I can trust you more. I've said to much already." He shook his head and his eyes hardend, signaling that he wouldn't say no more.

Blaise: I blinked, going wide eyed. "You've seriously been a lot of really awesome places, havent you?" i said. What would it be like to see the whole world? There was so much to see and so much to do on this planet. For a moment, i wondered if it was possible to see all of it. I vowed that i would travel as soon as i escaped.
