Adair watched him, stunned into silence by his idea. It took her a moment to find her voice. "You shouldn't think like that and I don't mind," she said softly. She walked over to the couch, sitting next to him. She looked up at him. "So what are we going to watch Azriel?"

"I don't know." He wrapped a arm around her and pulled her close, his face going blank. He turned on the t.v. and handed her the remote. He was going to let her choose. His face softend then and his lips pulled up a bit. "I wouldn't be too sure of my survival tommorow. Me and Damon will be confronting my father. It might not end well."

Rusty shook his head and cupped her cheek. "That's not happening. Only the alphas of packs have came to fight. They left their pack mates to protect their dens, or homes, so that if they did die they'd have someone to keep the pack alive, instead of sacrificing them all. I won't let you fight."

Aria sighed, he was being difficult. "So you don't think I can fight like an alpha." She leaned into his hand. She looked him in the eyes. She wanted to fight. She might even sneak away without his consent to fight. She was just too stubborn to follow order that was one the main reason her and her father fought alot.

Rusty got a odd look in his eyes and leaned down to brush his lips across her forehead. "Of course I think you can, does that mean I want you in the line of fire? No. I'll have Adair or Blaise keep an eye on you if I have to."

Aria laughed, "You know I can be sneaky when I want to be. Plus I am sure I can over power them if I have too." She didn't know how he knew what she was thinking. It made her feel like her thought wern't her owns. She of course would sneak away if she could but she knew she wouldn't have to hurt them since she knew they would most likly want to go to.

Adair cuddled closer to Azriel and rested her head on his shoulder. She stared at the remote a minute and handed it back to him. "You should still try to be positive instead of being negative. Also, you can choose a movie. It would be awful of me to choose instead of letting you, the person who thinks he moght die, choose," she stated.

Rusty sighed. "Then I'll just have to chain you up somewhere, now wont I?" A playful gleam entered his eyes. Now that would be amusing, or at least to his vampires side it was.

Azriel sighed and randomly clicked on a movie, ending up on Valentines Day. He sighed and tossed the remote on the other side of the bed and pulled Adair up on his lap and rested his head on top of hers. "Honestly, I don't think I'll be able to kill him....there was a time when he was kind...."

(hahaha I know. I just got confused for a second.)

Aria laughed, "Thats cruel." She saw his acctually starting to look happy. It made her feel happy to see him attually playful but she wasn't sure that it was a good thing that it made him happy to think about him putting her in chains.Suddenly she noticed how close they were together. She continued to look him the eyes wondering what it would feel like if he kissed her right now.

Adair was a little surprised when Azriel pulled her into his lap, but she didn't mind it. She frowned at his statement. "Maybe it won't have to come to that Azriel. Maybe, just maybe you and your brother can convince him that the way things are now is wrong," she said softly.

Rusty grinned, his two sharp teeth visible. "I know. Didn't think their was a cruel side to me, did ya?" He then fowned, his golden eyes softening and he lightly stroked her cheek. His eyes locked on hers and he frowned, seeing a look he hadn't seen in ages. Might as well take a chance. Chances are you wont live another day.... He slowly lowered his lips to hers and lightly brushed his lips against hers.

He frowned and shook his head. "The father I once loved died the day he killed my mother. Who's to know me and Damon won't turn ito a monster like him? He allowed his vampire side to control him. There's no way to reach him now, and even if we did we'd still kill him for our mother's death." His voice slowly turned into a growl and he made sure he wasn't holding her with his hands as they curled into fists and tightend enough that they would've broken one of her bones.

Aria laughed, "No I didn't" She saw him leaning closer the her and then brushed his lips against hers. At first she stiffened still having some doubts about vampires but she pushed the feeling away. She knew Rusty was better then anyone she ever met. She kissed him back rolling on top of him. She buried her hand into his hair.

Adair lifted her head from his chest, a small frown on her lips. She instantly had more of a distaste for Azriel's father than she already had. "You would never turn into some monster that would kill, Azriel. You're too sweet, cautious, and caring. I don't even think there's a an ounce of you that would want to hurt anyone purposely."

Rusty stiffend some what, but relaxed and stroked her back, allowing her to do what she pleased as she kissed him back. Rusty for the first time in a long time, knew he was in love. He never knew it'd be a werewolf, but he'd learned long ago fate had a weird sense of humor.

Azriel gave a dry laugh. "I would'nt be so sure. Do you remember the way I was when I first brought you home? I was so close to becoming like my father, but you thawed my icy heart...." He sighed and shook his head.

Aria continued kissing him till she needed to come up for air. She stared down at himn unsure of herself. Was that a spure of the moment kiss or did he acctually like her? Gah why was she so insucure. "Ummm..." She didn't know what to say to him she was panting hard and wanted to kiss her more but was getting shy again.

Rusty chuckled and stroked her cheek. "Yes little love?" He raised an eyebrow, curios as to her answer. He didn't know wether she liked him either, or if it was just because of his looks....he'd been in that type of relationship before and didn't want a repeat. He searched her eyes closely, but decides that wasn't the reason and relaxes.

Adair's frown deepened. "You're wrong Azriel. If you were like you're father at the time then how come you didn't hurt me at all? How come you never drank from me? How come you were so careful with me it's pathetic? And how could I of all people thaw your heart?" she asked, slightly surprised that she had thawed his heart. Her eyes locked on his.

His voice lowered and shame layered his voice. "Another part of me really did want to hurt you, my vampire side. The only reason I have an ounce of humanity is because of my mother's blood." He frowned and picked at a loose piece of thread on his pillow.

Aria smiled, when he called love. "Does that mean you love me?" She was playing with him but the question was serious. She didn't know how she felt about him. She knew that she liked him alot but love she wasn't sure. She had only know him for a little while but the thought of him getting hurt broke her heart. She felt confused.

Adair watched him quietly for a moment. "Yes, but you didn't. It's not just that humanity that kept you from doing that, Azriel, it was also because you're a decent person and you had the self control. Azriel, I honestly don't think you would ever hurt someone," she said softly.

"I think so....yes." He frowned and played with a strand of her hair. "Do you....feel the same?" His golden eyes filled with curiosity. He then reached over and stroked her cheek, feeling unsure about himself for the first time since he'd been a boy.

"I would, I have." His voice became more depressed and he sighed. He picked up her hands and played with her fingers distractedly. His blue eyes were distant and his mind elsewhere.

Adair frowned. "I still can't see you hurting anyone," she said softly. "And please do tell me how I supposedly thawed your heart," she said, incredibly curious to know his answer.

Aria felt joy well up in her. He really did love her. She thought about it for a second and she wasn't sure she was in love with him yet but she would be lying if she didn't say she was falling for him. "I am falling for you." She laughed, "Who would of though of a vampire and werewolf a pair." She leaned down till he lips were only a breath apart. She gave him a playful smile, "Do want to kiss me?"

Azriel blinked and his hands froze. "I wasn't suppose to tell you that." He dodged her question by asking. "How was it you got captured anyway?"

Rusty laughed as well. "Yeah. Fate can have a odd sense of humor at times." He went silent as she lowered her mouth back towards him. He raised an eyebrow at her. "Do you want me to kiss you?" His eyes became playful once more.

Adair raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean you weren't supposed to tell me that? And avoiding a question by asking a question, very smart move, Azriel," she said. "Too bad I don't plan on answering until you answer my question."

Aria laughed, "Yes it can." She starred at him with love. "Well I don't know how well do you kiss? I think you might have to teach me." She felt like she was on cloud nine. She loved teasing him and to see him teasing her right back.
